The Hole in the Wall, situated in the heart of Darlington, is owned by Phil and Mandy James, who took over the pub from Brother Greg in 1993. This very popular public house offers a great selection of ales including; 3 real ales and 2 premium lagers, Stella and Grolsch.
There is a successful darts team, which has won both Thursday and Friday leagues, along with the football team, with the Sunday team winning in the 3rd division. Dominoes take place on a Monday five and three’s.
There is a large TV, which is there to cover all major sport events, and if that wasn’t enough there is an outside pavement café.
Not only does the pub offer real ale, but also have specialised in Thai cuisine for the past 18 years. Offering a comprehensive selection of dishes such as Thai mixed grill and assorted Thai curries.
There are also snacks available.
Meals are served from 12 - 2pm Monday to Saturday, and also a Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening in a separate dining room.
